The historic British Challenge Rallye was a yearly event that pitted the best of the British cars and car clubs against each other. It was resurrected in 2019, then run again with great attendance the past few years.
This year’s event will be Saturday, August 29 — Time for your club to compete for the coveted Challenge Cup!
This is a fun and easy gimmick rallye (scavenger hunt) suitable for rallye goers of all levels. You will traverse through the beautiful Hunterdon County area of New Jersey, ending in Long Valley.
The 2026 rallye was crafted by Bob and Tracy Rudoph, who won the 2025 rallye and the coveted BRC Challenge Cup.
The event will be limited to 30 cars so register early. All cars are welcome, but additional points will be given for British cars. You MUST be affiliated with a British car club to participate.
A club needs at least three teams entered (driver/navigator) to compete for the trophy. The top three team scores from each club will be averaged to determine the winning club.

- Time: 10 am for Rallye School and photos. First car off: 10:30 am. The rallye duration is about 2 hours.
- Starting Place: QuickChek parking lot, 1296 NJ 28, Branchburg, N.J. (On Route 22 West)
- Ending Place: Long Valley Pub & Brewery, 1 Fairmont Rd., Long Valley, N.J. – Lunch (on your own) and awards
REGISTER ONLINE BY AUGUST 20. Mail-in registrations must be RECEIVED by JUNE 15.
