The Austin-Healey Sports and Touring Club’s annual, multi-day meet called Encounter is open to all Healey owners and enthusiasts. The AHSTC regions take turns hosting the event, which features a popular vote car show, judged concours, a rallye, tech sessions, a gymkhana and a flea market.

Registration fee is $65 by June 15, and includes:
  • One show car plus two adults and children under 21
  • Hospitality Room access throughout the event
  • Wednesday night tour of the AACA Museum at Hershey
  • Free flea market space
  • Free participation in all driving events
  • Admission to all tech sessions
  • Thursday Charity Auction & Social, including one free beverage plus cheeses, fruit and vegetable crudites
  • Encounter Car Show on Saturday

WEDNESDAY August 23
  • 2 p.m. • Registration opens in hotel lobby
  • 5:30 p.m. • FREE ADMISSION and private behind-the-scenes tour of the renowned AACA Museum at Hershey, a Smithsonian affiliate, not far from our host hotel. See a remarkable collection of beautiful and historic vehicles, displayed in vibrant dioramas. A not-to-be-missed start to Encounter 2023.

THURSDAY August 24
  • 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. • Registration open, hotel lobby
  • 8:30 a.m. • Rally School, Congressional Suite
  • 9:30 a.m. • Rally Morning rally through the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside
  • 10 a.m.-5 p.m. • Healey Theater, Congressional Suite
  • 11 a.m.-5 p.m. • Hospitality Room, Pennsylvania Suite
  • 2 p.m. • Hershey Gardens Tour (offsite)
  • 2:30 p.m. • Tech Session: Detailing, Congressional Suite
  • 7-10 p.m. • Wine and Cheese Reception and Charity Auction, Grande Ballroom. Auction benefits the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development in Lancaster.

FRIDAY August 25
  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m. • Registration open, hotel lobby
  • 9:30 a.m. • Gymkhana in the morning
  • 10 a.m.-5 p.m. • Healey Theater, Congressional Suite

  • 1:30 p.m. • Concours pre-judging meeting, Congressional Suite
  • 3-5 p.m. • Wine Tasting, Cassel Vineyards of Hershey
  • 3:30 p.m. • AHSTC Board Meeting, Congressional Suite
  • 6:15 p.m. • Western Roundup Buffet. Our traditional Friday evening dinner event will feature a Texas oven-roasted beef brisket, fried chicken, honey-roasted red potatoes, tossed salad, coleslaw, jalapeno corn bread, corn with fire-roasted red peppers, apple cobbler, beverage. | $43 adults/$20 children 6-12 OR $17 for a kid's chicken finger meal.

CONCOURS ENTRIES
Must be approved by July 1, 2023
Cars must be PRE-APPROVED to enter the Concours Class, and have their 2023 judging packet in hand 30 days before the event.
